Arkansas Birth Photography

A few days before Blakely and Jasper's mom Jill contacted me, I was telling my birth photography group how I really was hoping to photograph a twin birth soon! It was neat when Jill contacted me to see how quickly my wish came true! When I arrived for their morning c-section, Jill and her husband Mitch were relaxing in their hospital room, getting ready to meet their sweet kiddos!

I asked Jill to share a little about how she and Mitch found out they were expecting two blessings instead of one :) ....

"Our reaction to finding out it was twins was pure shock, scared, worried I'm pretty sure every emotion that someone could have we both did as we looked at the ultrasound pic with two little dots(twins never crossed our minds). We were originally told that it was more than likely two boys but found out that we were getting the best of both worlds at our first little rock appt. which was so exciting considering there hasn't been a girl at all on my side of the family since me. baby A (jasper) was laid back relaxing and baby B (Blakely) was turning circles. Due to both doctors telling us we were high risk we waited until Easter to tell our family's which couldn't have been a better time. We decided on names within a couple weeks; Jasper is a family name and Mitch's middle name is Blake."

These sweet babies came out screaming! It was awesome watching the excitement on Mitch and Jill's faces as they looked at their children for the first time.

The twins went into the nursery to be weighed and measured. Miss Blakely weighed 5lbs & 5oz,  and her brother Jasper weighed 5lbs and 9oz   .

It was time for the twins to spend some skin to skin time with mommy. Watching the Bennett's become parent's was so awesome, and of course love was flooding the room! These first few moments with your children as a family are absolutely priceless!

The Bennett's came into the studio for a few Newborn images! Here is a small peek at their sweet family!

Jill & Mitch-- Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day. You two are certainly blessed, and I am honored to be able to document the First year of Blakely & Jasper's lives!
